Refund policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
This policy explains when you can get money back for Tightlip credits. It is part of our terms of service. Harbor Software LLC is the merchant for every purchase.
1. What you can get back
Unused paid credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Ask us by email at hello@tightlipai.com, and we refund the money to the original payment method.
If you have used part of a top-up, we refund the unused part. For example, if you bought USD 100 of credits (2,000 credits) and used 400 of them, we refund the 1,600 unused credits, which is USD 80.
2. What cannot be refunded
- Credits you have used.
- Free credits, including the USD 20 of credits each new account gets. Free credits have no cash value.
- Paid credits more than 14 days after you bought them. They stay in your account and remain valid for at least 12 months from the date they were added.
3. How to ask for a refund
Email hello@tightlipai.com within 14 days of your purchase. Include:
- the email address on your Tightlip account; and
- the date of the purchase.
We check the purchase and your balance, then refund the unused paid credits through Stripe to the card you paid with. We remove the refunded credits from your balance and reply by email to confirm the refund.
4. When the money arrives
Once we send a refund, your card issuer decides how long it takes to show on your statement. If you cannot see it, your card issuer can tell you where it is. We can send you the refund details to help.
5. Chargebacks
Please email us before you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, so we can try to fix the problem first.
If you open a dispute, we may pause your account until it is settled. If the payment is reversed, we remove the credits from that purchase from your balance. If you dispute a charge for credits you have already used, we may close your account.
6. Enterprise invoices
If you pay for Tightlip by invoice under an enterprise agreement, refunds follow that agreement.
7. Your rights under the law
This policy does not take away any right to a refund that the law where you live gives you.
